Who am I? \u2013 Biography<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Demet Demircio\u011flu<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was born in Diyarbak\u0131r on September 30, 1979. He completed his primary and secondary education at Yeni\u015fehir Primary School and Diyarbak\u0131r Anatolian High School, respectively. He graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and received his medical doctorate. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist training at the Ministry of Health Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital in 2009. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He completed his compulsory service as a specialist physician at the Ministry of Health Malatya State Hospital between 2009-2011. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He worked as a specialist doctor at Memorial Hizmet Hospital between 2011-2018. He received the title of associate professor given by the Council of Higher Education in 2018. He succeeded in the Board Exam organized by the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Section of the European Union of Specialist Physicians (UEMS-PMR) and received a certificate of competence. He joined the staff of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University Faculty of Medicine in 2023 and became Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Demet Tekd\u00f6\u015f Demircio\u011flu has worked in physical medicine and rehabilitation associations operating in Turkey. She has book chapters, articles and congress presentations published in Turkey and abroad on the subject of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She serves as an instructor in national and international educational congresses organized to ensure the dissemination of current physical therapy and rehabilitation practices. Her professional interests are painful musculoskeletal system diseases, rehabilitation in neurological diseases, clinical pilates, personalized exercise design and posture disorders. She effectively applies interventional methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, he completed the Exosome Tissue Engineering PhD program at \u0130stinye University and continues his clinical applications and scientific studies in this field.
